SHADES OF GREEN

I am joining Marty for Tabletop Tuesday. This tablescape is from a garden tour, and I just love the lime green bench and chair.
I really like the chippy old table and the centerpiece made from just greenery. I think an all greenery arrangement in the summertime is so cool and refreshing looking.
I love this urn nestled among the greenery too. This bamboo cutlery is becoming very popular. I think it is perfect for summer tablescapes. The trays are great too, just pick up the whole thing and take back inside when the meal is over.
I think I will go pick some greenery and make an arrangement to enjoy  this hot summer day. I am joining Debbie at http://www.debbie-debbiedoos.com  for her Newbies/Graduates party.

A SWEET TABLETOP ARRANGEMENT

These are my favorite little statues, so I decided to make a spring arrangement from them. The children all are holding different animals or insects.
This sweet boy is holding a frog and has a turtle at his feet. This little boy is holding a rabbit. This one has a dragonfly by the tail. They are just so precious and always make me smile when I walk in the room. I just placed them on a silver tray with some moss rocks and reindeer moss and curled some ribbon around. I put the antique glass double candle holder in the back of the arrangement.I am joining Marty for Tabletop Tuesday at http://www.astrollthrulife.blogspot.com  and Kim for Wow Us Wednesday at http://www.savvysouthernstyle.blogspot.com

OLD EGG NOG BOWL

This depression era egg nog bowl is one of my favorite Christmas items. I always put some of my old shiny bright ornaments in it. It is not very large as most egg nog bowls are. I have never seen another one like it. Of course I have never used it for eggnog-we don't do egg nog, unless its mixed with ice cream. I did egg nog mixed with ice cream-almost like a thick milkshake, for a garden club party one Christmas-boy did they scarf it down. Good thing I don't put liquor in mine, those ladies might have gotten rowdy!
I used a gold mesh runner and some of my mercury glass trees around it.
Close up of some of my old shiny brights. I love the bell shaped one.I am joining Marty for Tabletop Tuesday at http://www.astrollthrulife.blogspot.com

DINING TABLE BOUNTY

I took my big copper bowl and piled in quors, pumkins, acorns and deer antlers, then threw in pinecones and moss and a few succulents and leaves for color. Then I decided to put my burlap tablecloth on the table. I rarely use a tablecloth, I just like the look of the bare wood better. This arrangement is huge, the bowl is probably about the size of a birdbath. It takes up so much room, I will probably do another arrangement for the Thanksgiving meal.

Mr. squirrel came for those giant acorns. He is a glass Christmas ornament I picked up the other day.I will start cooking tommorow and doing the table-we are supposed to have severe storms-hope there will not be any damage.I am joining Marty at http://www.astrollthrulife.blogspot.com for Tabletop Tuesday and Kim at http://www.savvysouthernstyle.blogspot.com for Wow Us Wednesday.

JUST FOR THE GRANDS

Every year I put out less and less Halloween. My grandsons are getting older and since they were the ones that enjoyed it, I always tried to have lots of stuff. This year I just focused on the mantel. After this year it will all get packed up and probably taken to a resale shop. But I will always remember how the grands little eyes lit up when they saw all the "spooks". Time marchs on and FAST-so you better enjoy  it while you can. WEDDING CHAPEL TABLES

I am joining Marty for Tabletop Tuesday at http://www.astrollthrulife.blogspot.com . I will admit I have been on the road so much lately I haven't done any tabletops of my own. However a friend of mine recently bought a church-yes you read this right-a church. This is an historic old church out in a little town and she has turned it into a wedding chapel or a place for parties and meetings. I thought I would share a lovely floral arrangement or two that she did for tables.Isn't this arrangement lovely, she had it out at her open house.
I love the detail on this antigue tablecloth.

Another beautiful tabletop-beautiful white lillies in this one. This is the church, it is huge and very pretty. I think it is over 100 years old.
The above photo and this room are in the Bride's dressing room. I love the old fashioned look. I hope you enjoyed these tabletops and maybe I will stay at home enough to do my own by next week!

This is a tablescape from The Gardens of Madison County tour. It is one of my favorites. I love the colors! Look at those cute napkin rings.
Lovely centerpiece-and the nest of eggs is precious. Three Beautiful Tables

For some reason I only got one photo each of these tablescapes from the garden tour, so I am just going to share them all in one post. Love this color of blue,we call it pool blue.
I love this table runner! The brown and green together is lovely. Beautiful centerpiece, and the small bud vases at each place setting is a nice touch. And of course I adore this pottery. The blue and brown tablecloth is perfect with it.
