MARDI GRAS

MARDI GRAS IS FAST APPROACHING, SO I THOUGHT I WOULD START THINKING OF TABLE DECORATIONS. I THOUGHT THE BIG MARTINI GLASS WOULD BE PERFECT TO DISPLAY SOME OF MY OLD MARDI GRAS BEADS AND OF COURSE YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE COMEDY/TRAGEDY MASK.
NEXT I THREW AROUND SOME OF MY SOUVENIR DUBLOONS. I NEED TO DIG OUT MY OLD MARDI GRAS MASKS TO ADD TO THIS. I AM JOINING MARTY AT ASTROLLTHRULIFE FOR HER TABLETOP TUESDAY TODAY.

That is really festive looking. Love it. It's nice to use something other than Christmas colors now.

I've never been to NOLA, but I love Mardi Gras. We usually have jambalaya for dinner and I usually make a King Cake.

I think that is the perfect Mardi Gras centerpiece because it's both fun and festive. Love the colors, and the beads are the perfect touch.

XO,

Sheila :-)

Hey Ms. Mississippi. What fun.. When is it, anyway? You're feeling mighty festive this close after the holidays. Brave Woman! Keri

Thank you for visiting me at Southern Lagniappe, and for taking the time to leave a comment. I'm so glad it led me to your blog.

Your Mardi Gras centerpiece is perfect. I especially like the gold masks tucked in amongst the colorful beads.

I look forward to seeing more of your creations and exploring your gardening blog, too!
