Hi Vickie, just wanted to say thanks for dropping by my blog, it's nice to "meet" you.Tracey x
Let's see...the shadows would be on the other side of the fence late in the afternoon, right? :-)IF I HAD A SHADOWIf I had a shadow as big as the sky,I never would fear, and I’ll tell you why:My shadow would save me from dragons and thingsThat fly in the night with terrible wings; My shadow would keep me away from the beastThat sniffs in the west and sniffs in the eastHungry for children who play all alone,Hoping to feast upon blood, upon bone;My shadow would be my protector and knightTo keep fear at bay, to banish all fright.I’m so glad my shadow is always nearby,Though it’s not nearly as big as the sky!© 2011 by Magical Mystical TeacherShadows in hoofprints and stone
Gorgeous! My share of shadows, have a nice weekend.
Sometimes shadows are my only real friends. Thanks, Richard from My Old Historic house.
Perfect shadows of the fenceline! I need to try getting out early or late for my shadow this week. Too hot for midday!
A neat concept. Do you remember trying to step on your shadow as a child or run and watch it follow? Peace
