As many of you know I am an artist. I do mostly oils with some acrylics and watercolors. This is a mixed media piece I just finished-I loved doing it!. I covered my canvas with old book pages, newspaper and scrap book paper. The flowers are painted with acrylic. It just makes me smile every time I look at it.
This is what I usually paint-things that are more realistic looking.
Every Tuesday a group of men and women at my church get together for art class. It is taught by a member of our church who is a fantastic artist. I have learnt so much, but best of all I have become closer with other church members.
We all painted this . Everyone's was different.
Some days we do stuff like this-make a chart of mixed colors as a reference for later. We are starting a new painting today-a landscape-and I can't wait to see how different everyone's turns out. I am joining Marty at
