APOTHECARIES AND VASE FILLERS FOR FALL

I have been adding a few fall touches around the house, since it finally dropped to 90 degrees-LOL. I am sharing a few ideas for apothecaries and vase fillers today. I love to find big containers to fill up-it makes more of a statement. I went out to my friends pasture and picked up deer sheds and talked her son out of a few more to fill up this vase. I just added some moss and some of the really good looking fake succulents. I think this will look good all winter.
I found this jar at a  junk store-looks great filled with pumpkins. I may put moss and mini white pumpkins in for Thanksgiving.
I have had this apothecary for several years, it was a Hobby Lobby purchase. I love these large acorns-also from Hobby Lobby. I have a box full of these somewhere. I can't figure out how my decorations get so scattered-I really try to keep everything organized and together in tubs. I suppose they will turn up-just hope it is not next Easter before they do! Now to find the perfect spot for these. I am joining Marty for Inspire Me Tuesday at http://www.astrollthrulife.blogspot.com

Love the antlers in the glass. I went all whimsy like this year instead of the antler/woodsy type stuff, and am kinda regretting it.

The antlers look fabulous in the jar. Such a great look and you can't beat adding pumpkins and gourds.
