Life IS like a box of chocolates -you never know what you are going to get. I had a tree to die in my back garden and got the idea to plant old fashioned morning glories on it before cutting it down this fall. I bought a cheap pack of morning glories at the dollar store and planted them. The picture on the package was solid blue. I also planted white moonflowers too. I thought the mix would be pretty. Well this is how the blue morning glories turned out-well some of them....
This is another bloom on the same plant. This one looks like old soft brushed denim fabric. I sure hope these make seeds-but then who knows what those seeds might do.

Had to share this one with a bees butt sticking out of the bloom. Ha! This is a life lesson here-things don't always turn out like you want or expect, but that does not mean that it is not going to be wonderful. Joining http://www.anoregoncottage.com for the Tuesday Garden Party.

WOW These turned out great. Peace
I'm sure the bees are very appreciative of your beautiful flowers! The photos are so clear it's almost as if I could reach out and feel the delicate blooms. They're all beautiful. -- Jan
Such pretty blue morning glory. Mine hasn't started to bloom. I hope it is as pretty as yours.
