AN OLD FASHIONED VASE OF FRESH FLOWERS

I picked a bouquet of flowers from my garden before all the rain today could beat them into the ground. My house smells wonderful! There is nothing that smells better than hyacinths in the spring, after a long winter. Not that we have had much winter here, but still. This is a very old vase, but I like it  for displaying different flowers.
These are the old fashioned hyacinths that smell sooo good. I wonder if you can still buy these bulbs or if they are a pass along plant now. I have divided mine all over the garden, in case they decided not to like the spot I had them in. I have also shared with friends. I certainly would not want to lose this bulb!
The rose colored hyacinths are not old, but they sure are pretty.I am joining Marty for Tabletop Tuesday at http://www.astrollthrulife.blogspot.com I am sure there will be lots of beautiful Valentines tables, but I have never decorated too much for that holiday.

Very pretty, and I bet your house did smell good. We had some type of bulb pop up the other day (you know I don't know the names)but I bet it is frozen now?

Love your vase! And I can almost smell the flowers! Thanks for sharing!

It's a shame that scientist have messed with the flowers so much that a lot of them don't have a smell anymore. But, yours look so pretty. Hope you have a great V-Day :)

I've never seen a vase like that. Interesting. Love the blue hyacinths - I didn't realize they 'came' like that. I've got to get out more. Happy Valentine's Day!

I have one I picked up in a box deal, but it has a little damage around one of the fingers.

Very pretty.
