FRESHENING UP

This is an arrangement on my favorite chest. I am loving the blue orbs in the apothecary.
Love my new bird cloche from Hobby Lobby.
An arrangement with just greenery from my garden. I think this looks fresh, instead of dreary like it is outside.Anybody else ready for Spring? I know I am counting the days.I don't know if I ever told you about this chest. I bought it for $15.00 at a junk store. It was painted pink. After stripping it and rubbing with tung oil, it has been a wonderful addition. Today it is getting a good rubbing with Natchez oil, something I try to do to all of my furniture at least once a year.I am joining Marty at http://www.astrollthrulife.blogspot.com for Tabletop Tuesday.

We may be ready for Spring, but statistically we have some of our coldest, worst weather in January and February!! Maybe not this year. :)

There is something about blue and white together that gives me a "Happy feeling" kind of like yellow flowers outside. With this strange weather 60 one day 20s the next day, my bulbs have popped out of the ground. Also, I notice my Hawthorne bush is in bloom. That chest was a find. Thanks for the reminder, I need to get out the Natchez oil and begin my route around the house. Peace

Your dresser is beautiful. I have not used Natchez oil on my furniture but do try to use something on my special wood pieces once a year or so. I love the blue and white in your tabletop arrangement. The greens do make things fresh, it is very white and frozen outside here and I am starting to think spring would be nice.
