ROOSTER PAINTING

I hardly painted anything all last year-I was in a terrible slump. I decided that this year I was going to get back to painting -no matter what! I know if I ever get going again I will be painting every day. Anyway I sat down long enough to start this quick little acrylic painting.
I am not finished with it yet, it needs a few more touch ups, but I was trying out this frame-not sure abouut it yet though.Anyway at least it is getting me back in the mood to paint again. I am joining The Bunny Hop at http://www.bunnyjeansdecorandmore.blogspot.com  and Wow Us Wednesday at http://www.savvysouthernstyle.blogspot.com Also at http://www.kristenscreationsonline.blogspot.com

Oh my goodness, if I could do that, you would never get the paint brush out of my hands! Did you take lessons? Oh how I would love to do that! My walls would be covered completely!

Love the rooster and glad you decided to get the paints back out. I signed up for a one-day painting workshop in Feb to try and get myself back into painting, too. Easy to fall out of the habit, huh? Looking forward to seeing your new projects.

I am really liking this rooster. He has a certain look in his eye... as if he knows that I have two folk art roosters hanging in my kitchen. Mine have really LONG legs as I might post about them in the future.

Sometimes it is good to take a break and when you start up again it is all fresh and more fun. I bet you will be painting up a storm in no time at all. He needs a little Henny Penny to keep him company!
