DREAMING OF SPRING

It has been in the 70's here the last couple of days. The daffodils and peach trees and tulip trees are bloomimg in my garden. It has really gotten me to wanting spring to be here now. I am ready to start planting.!

These are photos from a garden tour last year. I am so looking forward to going again this year .Wouldn't you like to rest awhile here after a busy morning of gardening.Love the fabric on this furniture, and the rug. I just bought a rug for my deck with lime green in it.My head feels like it is going to explode with all the gardening plans I have in mind! Big storms are on the way for today thru tomorrow, so I can stay inside and dream a little longer.

Here in Texas we are having rain - it's wonderful. I am looking forward to gardening - even the weeding.

Lime green is a truly happy color and I bet you will enjoy that rug. Sounds like Spring has arrived down there. I just love the fern in the concrete head pot. I would love one of those. Peace

I'm in luv with the planter in the last pic.

I have a thing for faces and heads in my garden.

Hope we don't get too bad of weather.

Everything in my yard is confused too.

This warm weather we are having will put a person in the spring mood. Hubby is soooo ready to get started on his garden.

SEVENTIES! I was scrolling down, down, PEA-GREEN as all the plants, when I saw that this was indeed from another Spring, and not quite THERE yet.

The peach trees reaching out their little ears, and the jonquils sound SO wonderful right now. The melted snow has left us a sea of mud from here to there, with just patches of the bright green moss that I assiduously water every Summer, for it's under the biggest TREE for miles, and gets no moisture from above.

We do lots of dreaming, this time of year, as well.

I long for spring, it sure has come early your way. More reasons to love the south. Richard from My Old Historic House.

I've never been on a garden tour...it sounds like it would be fun and filled with inspiration!

We are cold and gloomy here in the Midwest. That's usual for this time of year. I'm hanging in there!! ;-)

Jane

Love that rug! Yes, that does look like a great place to relax and enjoy the garden. I'm ready for spring, too. I just wonder if Mother Nature is really ready, or just teasing us!

With this lovely weather that we've been having, I'm itching to garden, too. I love that concrete planter with the fern growing in its head!
