I love living in the South.! I still have roses blooming-maybe not after this week though. We have had a few nights in the thirties and frost already, but my back yard is the perfect micro climate. I have an 8 and 1/2 foot fence surrounding my back yard and a wooded lot next door,so everyone elses yards are brown and dead and I still have green and blooming. How lucky am I ?
The lows are going to be in the twenties the next couple of nights, so even these will be gone I am sure, but I sure have enjoyed them! I am joining http://www.savvysouthernstyle.blogspot.com for Wow Us Wednesday and then back to the Christmas decorating-at least the weather is beginning to feel more like Christmas.

I love living in the north! I'm wishing for a white Christmas! Stop by and see who is watching over my garden until spring. OK I admit I do miss the flowers and seeing green in the winter! Will be your newest follower, hope you will visit us, Laura - Cottage and Broome
How lovely. I am so envious of your blooms this late in the year.

Lucky you! I love to see the roses blooming this late. Roses at Christmas would be wonderful! (It's Snowing in the Pines here in Dixie this morning.)
Enjoy them while they last since we're truly getting cold now! Brrr!
I love how your roses are still in bloom! My were as of last week, but not anymore. What are the names of the first two roses? Are they antique roses?
Sorry, but just go ahead and tell me the names of them all!
Yes, I agree - living in the south is the best! My roses are blooming, too, but like you, we are getting 20 degree nights for a while. After that I'll venture out to see what damage has been done. Until then, it's sitting by the fire in my long johns and drinking hot cocoa!
I do too!
