GALLERY WALL

I know I'm a day late but I am joining Kim for Wow Us Wednesday at http://savvysouthernstyle.blogspot.com . I am a collector of art by Mississippians and I decided I needed to make a gallery wall. I had been rotating it, but I wanted to have it all out. I still have more that I haven't hung yet though.
I love the colors in this one, it was painted by the former mayor and newspaper editor in our town. This is an oil by Gary Walters. He now does moslty watercolors and just published a fantastic book last year of his watercolors.Well this is not a Mississippi artist, I bought this at an estate sale-the lady bought it in Egypt when she was visiting there. I love it-it seems so mysterious to me.

Great pictures! I love local artists. I am still seeking a painting from the Highway Men. They sold out of their trunks here in Florida in the 50's

I am so glad you support the local artist and are displaying them too. What a wonderful way to support "America". Peace
