FLAMINGOES ON THE TABLE

It will soon be time to change the summer decor for a fall one-though that is hard to think about when it will be over 100 here every day this week. However I am ready for a change,.But first I will share some summer scenes that I may or may not have shared before. This is part of my collection of fishing weights and witches balls. Do you know the diffeence? A witch ball has an opening in the end-the witch is supposed to fly in and then can't get out. These are sitting on a HEAVY iron tray. These flamingo dishes just scream summer, aren't they fun.

What is summer without seashells?More glass fishing weights. I am joining http://www.betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com And http://www.diybydesign.blogspot.com

Great dishes! Thanks for stopping by Shadymont. I think you have a wonderful idea of stapling my fabric remnant on canvas to use as wall art. That's what I'm going to do! Thanks for the idea and the inspiration. I'll post when I get it done.

Have a great day!

You are so right about the dishes "They scream summer and look so festive." I needed a lessons in weights and witches balls as I did not know. Stay cool. I too am awaiting the crisp cool weather of fall. Peace

I had no idea there was a difference in the balls. Flamingo's are so fun and I know what you mean about the 100 degree weather, it's the same here in Texas.

I posted a blog awhile ago about a plant. I was wondering if you could take a look at it and see if you know what it is called.

Thanks so much.

I had no idea those were called witches balls! I will have to share that with my Mom! Thanks! Love the flamingo plates...they definitely do say summer! I am not ready to see summer end. It has been hotter than blue blazes here in Missouri all summer long, but the temperatures are just now starting to even out...like "real" summer should be! So I want to enjoy it for awhile! Have a good weekend!!!
