AN EVENING WITH THE SYMPHONY

The hub and I recently had an evening out in one of our favorite cities-Canton. There was a lovely program on the courthouse square, with Thacker Mountain Radio- a favorite  and the Mississippi Symphony. It was a beautiful evening with a nice breeze. I have shared Christmas in Canton with you here http://www.paintordig.blogspot.com/2010/12/christmas-in-canton.html.
The Color Guard marched out to music from the symphony. These children were having good old fashioned fun.Everyone brought chairs or blankets and picnic baskets. It was great fun.

I love this kind of event. We have them during the summer on our downtown courthouse lawn..there's a beautiful gazebo and the band usually plays there. So fun

A grand day to be had by all. Glad you had the opportunity to go and then happy you shared it with us. Now if you only had the music to play while we read. Peace
