NEW THRIFT FINDS

I visited one of my favorite resale shops last week and picked up these great Jackson and Perkins wall pots. I love them! Well maybe not the color of them, but stay tuned I am thinking lime green-what do you think? They will be on the wall of my garden shed and it is painted black. I may even tip them sideways and let the flowers look like they are spilling out. I have two free days this week an I am not answering the phone or the door-I am going to be out of pocket as we Southerner's say-I am planning on being in my garden! I am joining Debbie at Debbie-Debbiedoos for her party.

I like those pots a lot. And I think that blue is a nice complement to the green wall you have, esp. if you have greenery in them.

These will be so pretty on your wall. I like the blue, but think the green would be striking against a black wall. Let us see what you decide!

Those pots are so pretty. They'll look great with flowers spilling out of them. That was a great find.

I love that saying "out of pocket"! I think painting the wall pots green and then tipping them is a wonderful idea. They will look so pretty filled with flowers on a black wall. I'm visiting you from Debbie-doos.

Oh, I definitely think the lime green would look great against the black shed. I found you at Debbie's Newbie Party. I have a pie recipe linked there. I am a new follower of yours and I'd love it if you visited me and followed me as well.

Great pots, I like the idea of 'tipping' them so the flowers look like they're spilling out. Being a southern girl too, I'm the same way when I have projects - no phone, no doorbell :) Enjoy your two free days!

Looking forward to seeing the finished projects. I spent Thursday of last week cleaning two flower beds and my old body suffered from it for a couple of days so today I am ready to tactcal another bed or two. I use that expression often as most southern do. Peace

Hi, Vicky,
Just wanted to let you know that I was in Natchez last week for the pilgrimage, and as we were eating, I was sure I saw you sit down at the table next to me.
I went over and said, "Aren't you my Mississippi artist friend?" LOL. Well, of course, it wasn't you, but she was sure a dead ringer.
Happy gardening.
