TEA TIME TUESDAY

iT'S TUESDAY AND TIME TO JOIN LADY KATHERINE FOR TEA TIME TUESDAY. THERE ARE ALWAYS LOTS OF BEAUTIFUL THINGS TO SEE HERE. I USED MY FAVORITE CHINA FOR THIS TABLE SETTING ALONG WITH MY GRANDMOTHERS GOBLETS. SIMPLE FLOWER ARRANGEMENT IN THE SOUP TUREEN. AS YOU SEE WE HAVE GOBLETS FOR ICE TEA-IT'S A SOUTHERN THING- AND CUPS FOR THE AFTER DINNER COFFEE. I CAN NOT FIGURE OUT WHY MY CHANDELIER ALWAYS LOOKS AMBER IN PHOTOS- MAYBE THE GLARE I GUESS. NOTICE THE TEA POT NAPKIN RINGS- KATHERINE WILL LIKE THOSE!

I'm not a Southerner by birth, but I totally understand the "Southern thing." I don't know if mine is a "Midwest thing", but it seems I always end up serving wine or champagne along with my tea & nibbles in the afternoon. The china is very, very pretty, and I like the napkin ring!!!

I wasn't aware of that sounthern thing, glad you informed me. Must be because I am a transport here. I love your china, Vicky! Such pretty colors and pattern. You know what else I like? I like your drapes...Christine
