A TEA FOR ONE

I was given a gift by a sweet friend this weekend, that gave me the idea for this post. It is a lovely old china teapot that was her mothers.Isn't it pretty? So anyway I set a tea table just for me. I used my old crocheted table cloth and my crystal dishes and I just happened to have a tea cup with volets on it that matched the tea pot. This was a good place to sit and relax.
I hope you can see the details in the dishes- my chandeleir was giving a glare on everything. I picked up the plates at NUTS-which means neat used things for sale- how clever is that? I am joining Susan at http://www.betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/  and Katherine at http://www.ladykatherineteaparlor.blogspot.com/  and Marty at http://www.astrollthrulife.blogspot.com/  for their wonderful parties this week.  This post is for my friend Betty in memory of her sweet mother- that everyone called granny.

I saw a sconce at Sweet Nothings I just adore, that CSN carries! Came to your town Saturday, just for a quick stop at Walmart, I did buy two plates, while Terry picked up dog food. There and out in 15 min. I am looking for a car, Doc going to let me drive 15 min at time, so I will be coming to see you soon. I couldn't talk Terry into bringing me to the sale! Oh, I wish! lol

Hi Vicki! Thanks so much for coming over for a visit at my blog! I joined yours as well and did a double take at one of your pictures because I am pretty sure we have the same curtains (the plaid) in our house. Kindred spirits!
