As you know I am all about "MARRYING" stuff together{remeber my older post on cakeplates and teacake stands?} anyway I found this weird base at an estate sale and the tray- oh who knows where- anyway I put them together and they made a very different table. Don't notice the dirty woodwork, I have been redoing the paint in here.

You sure have a gift for seeing what will work together...my eyes certainly don't. Wonderful job.
Still going to make those cakeplates, though mine are probably more the teacake size. I keep seeing more and more at the thrift store, and buying. Maybe next week.
