FEELS LIKE SUMMER

I love to change out my apothecary jars, I get lots of mileage out of them.Since it seems like summer already, I decided to bring out the shells.

I love them sitting on this old silver tray. I added moss and a few succulents around the edge.I also added my McCarty pottery shells to the other side. APOTHECARY LOVE

I changed out my apothecary's again. I love finding new  or different things to display.

I put my baby shoe in on a bed of moss and ferns. I like it displayed like this.

A bird's nest in the other one, not very original but I do love bird's nests! I am joining Marty at http://www.astrollthrulife.blogspot.com  for Tabletop Tuesday. I think I will call this post the old shoe-cause it is an old shoe! I am old as dirt and feel six days older than the earth!

CHRISTMAS DECORATING HAS STARTED

I am ever so SLOWLY putting out Christmas. I can't seem to get in the groove this year!I did do a table in my entry.

 Very simple.Apothacarys filled with fake snow and some red berries and Christmas balls.

Sprinkled some snow around the glass trees and called it done. I don't know maybe I will get the energy to do something different, but this kind of makes me feel like I've done something to get started.I am joining Marty for Tabletop Tuesday at http://www.astrollthrulife.blogspot.com

TOUCHES OF FALL

Slowly changing out to fall decor.It has been in the 80's this week instead of 99 and over 100 so I guess fall is in the air! I hope we have a nice lo-o-o-ng fall, because I dislike cold weather. I don't think I could ever live out of the South-I would be miserable in the cold winters-it gets cold enough here for me thank you very much!

LOUISIANA TREASURE FINDS

I promised to show you the treasures I picked up while junkin in Louisiana. I got this great Nell Hill book. This is just one of the many luscious photos in the book.Of course I had to have another apothacary jar. I put some reindeer moss in the bottom and some shells and added it to my entry table vignette.Love this little pickle dish and fork.Also picked up these dishes-I have the same patten in blue and white.I love all my new treasures. Today I went shopping in a town about an hour away and I will share later what I picked up.
