NATCHEZ SPRING PILGRIMAGE

This is the beautiful home, Linden in Natchez. I recently went to spring Pilgrimage in this beautiful city on the Mississippi River. This is a trip everyone should make at least once. Pilgrimage is in the spring and fall. The weather this year could not have been more beautiful and I stayed at a beautiful downtown hotel within walking distance of many sites.
The beautiful Grand Hotel . The room overlooked the Mississippi River. It is a lovely hotel with  a wonderful helpful staff.
Lovely old homes all over town. As well as beautiful parks. If you are a fan of Greg Iles books you must visit the City Cemetery. This is the famous Turning Angel from one of his books.

I am glad you had a great time in Natchez, Vicky. Sorry I missed you. I am still in FL, after the cruise, my granddaughter was diagnosed with cancer and us under treatment now so I am helping out with the other babies. Next time you come to Natchez and I am there, you can stay with us and not stay in a hotel.....Christine

This looked like a very lovely trip. I just love old homes. Thanks for sharing and to be able to just walk to different sites was a bonus. Peace

"Paint or Dig" has been included in the A Sunday Drive for this week. Be assured that I hope this helps to point even more new visitors in your direction.
