I have not done as much for Christmas this year-for some reason I just feel like I want things kind of simple. This is my mantel.

Those pieces are very pretty, and I'm sure they carry many memories. I always say, "I hope I never get too old to decorate seasonally in a big way." So far so good -- at least for this year!

From what I have heard this year lots of folks are going simple with the decorations. I know I am because the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is so short this year. ALSO,my biggest thing this year is I know what I put out I will have to go back and put away so I am thinking of the ole back. Do not want to get where I cannot walk again. BTW the mantel looks very festive. Peace
