THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GARDEN

Now that the weather is warming up here in the South, I am getting the gardening bug. This past weekend I was in West Monroe, Louisiana at the Biedenharn Gardens. This is such a beautiful place, everyone should get a chance to visit.
There are four of these 14 foot tall statues in the garden. The top is a water fountain. This is another beautiful water feature at the end of what is called the ballet lawn. Real ballets were performed here once.Looking from the water feature down the ballet lawn to the house. I know to have a garden like this now is kind of impractical, but it sure is pretty and you can get ideas-of course you can do some of this on a smaller scale. I am joining Kim at http://www.savvysouthernstyle.blogspot.com  for Wow Us Wednesday. I am also joining http://www.adelightsomelife.com  for Home and Garden Thursday.

How beautiful! I am a northern gardener and am envious of you southern girls. ;-) I am living vicariously through you until Spring arrives. Thanks for the lovely pics. Visiting from Wow us Wednesdays. Have a wonderful day! Love, Wanda

I go to Monroe fairly often and didn't even know about this place. Then again, I'm usually headed to the Sam's Club with my husband when I go there. I may have to check this out at some point.

What an inspirational garden! I like to get ideas from places like this, too, especially about flower and color combinations.
