WHAT I DID AT THREE THIS MORNING

I got up at 3 this morning to let the dogs out and it was snowing. That may not be a big thing to some of you, but here in the South we get snow very rarely. I think it has been two years and before that about five years.
Of course I had to get out and take photos. It was so quiet and peaceful and looked like a winter fairytale. Where was Dr. Zhivago-I know I probably didn't spell that right. Oh, was he a hunk!
See the river running thru my yard-that is from the nine days-yep nine days-of rain that we got before this snow. What a soggy mess this is going to be.The brussell sprouts and broccolli will taste delicious tho after this cold weather. The snow has already started melting off, I an ready for it to get back up to 79, like it was last week! I love living in the South!

Beautiful pictures. We have been down into the 20's here in the desert, but no snow. Just cold. I am ready for warmer temps too. Hugs, Marty

Beautiful pictures! It sure was pretty while it was falling and it almost covered the ground here. Now the sun is shining and most of it is gone:(

Hi there, I was just thinking about you the other day, but I couldn't find your blog, then I saw you had left a comment on Ramona's blog! I'm so jealous you have snow!! I think we had one or two flakes to fall today in south Alabama. And did you paint that beagle on your mantle? He's so pretty, I like that. Glad I found you again, stop by and visit sometime!

those pictures are wonderful, wow the snow is so beautiful, I live in California, no snow, unless we go up to the mountains, I bet you were so excited, I would have done the exact thing, grabbed my camera, you sure got some great shots...

It's so beautiful. Alas,we are too far south and missed it this round. Our yard is a soggy mess too--footprints fill up almost immediately with water!

Hey
I wish we had gotten the snow and not ice like you. We also had several days of rain before the ice but I do not believe it was 9 days. I have noticed that several of the blogger I follow are having trouble loading photos. Seems odd and looks like google has a problem. Peace
