The hubby and I recently went on a 4 hour cruise on our local reservoir. Our church rents this boat once a year for the members to enjoy a get together for a nominal fee.
We went out at 6 in the evening and came back to dock at 10. The sunset was beautiful on the water.
We enjoyed seeing the homes on the water, before it got dark.
This is the top deck-the canopy was off, but we didn't need it and we enjoyed seeing the stars.
We had music and some of the younger ones decided to have a limbo contest.A very nice time and a way to get to know other church members a little better.

We have been talking about driving over to Memphis to take a Riverboat Cruise. Guess we had better do it before it gets any cooler.

We did this once in Louisiana ...a dinner cruise and it was more fun.
and, you are right, bacon is tuff on hearts but we hafta have it every once in awhile....not too often but when we DO have it, it is pure delight. :)
