Today is the Copy Cat challenge over at . This is the book I chose to copy cat from. As you can see I am rushing fall.
This is the photo I picked to copy. Of course I had to go to the storage shed and dig out a pumpkin and then I had to dig in the dish cupboard and find this silver compote-and of course polish it! I knew where this tray was, but had to go back to the storage shed and dig out the grapevine and pick up the pine cones from the yard-because I just fed the squirrels the last nuts I had in the house. Whew this is a lot of work, I am going to have to start on this earlier next time!
I didn't have a photo of Pilgrims like this one, so I just cut a picture from a magazine.
I think I did a pretty good job of being a copycat, without having to go buy a thing!
I am also joining Shasta at  for the blogger Block Party.

I could have given you some pecans to go around the pumpkin!! BUT why are you teasing me with Fall in these dog days?! Lol!

Are you going to see Glenn? Poor fella. I would love to meet him, but I was particularly fond of his brother. They just seem jolly and and carefree, espc. Mitchell.

Beautiful job on your copy cat! I love how you photographed the magazine. I love the tray, and the stripe on the pumpkin, I just love it all! I'm now a follower and I pinned it!
