I decided to actually do something with one of my pins on Pinterest, instead of saying someday I will get around to it. I made this carrot for my front door out of a cardboard box and acrylic paint and some mesh. Now how easy is this!
Before next Easter I may do this in wood for a more permanent item, but for now this works.I am joining Kim for Wow Us Wednesday at http://www.savvysouthernstyle.blogspot.com This was pinned from etsy.com. but it was pinned so many times before me, who knows who the origional pinner was-but they sure had a cute idea.

How adorable!
I think that is really cute!
Now that is a great idea using cardboard! And you're right, you can always make it more permanent using wood but it's nice to 'try' it out first on the cardboard -- great door decoration!
Very pretty and out of the ordinary too!..Christine
Bugs Bunny would love to happen upon this one until he noticed it was cardboard. Have a wonderful Easter. Peace
Love Love Love it!
Adorable! And so is your blog! I have perused some of your previous posts and loved seeing your creativity!
So nice stopping by to visit with you!

Cute, I like it.
Girl, you DO beat all for clever and interesting items. Not a single Easter decoration out yet, as we were away from home for a week, and I haven't caught up with chores or energy since.
There WAS a tall beautiful lady Rabbit on the kitchen counter today, from Caro, with a little note from her pinned on the pink pinafore: Somebunny loves you.
Happy Easter to all of Y'all down there!

Hi Vicki,
Your carrot looks adorable on your front door. I saw that on Pinterest, too, and thought about making one but was wondering who I could get to cut the carrot out of wood. Never thought about using cardboard! You are the clever one! I hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend.
