CAN'T COMMENT? TRY THIS

Have you been having trouble leaving comments on others posts, or visiting their blog? Have you been having the screen freeze? Me too, and I have lost followers. I think it is because I haven't commented-or at least I hope it is not that they just don't like me anymore! I think I have fixed the problem, I got a great tip from http://www.thepolkadotcloset.blogspot.com  Go to dashboard, then settings, then comments and change to pop-up or full page instead of embedded comments. Now if I or somebody could figure out why when I add a blog to my blog roll, the next time I go back to my blog it is gone. I have added some blogs  back every day for a week and they still keep disappearing.

I heard about this last week and changed to a pop up comment thingy. Lately I've also noticed the screens going blank - really weird. I see a post on my reader, click to check it out, it starts to come up and then goes away. Sometimes I get frustrated and move on. Other times I go back and just click on the blog name (not the post title) and the blog and the new post will come up. And THEN I can't leave a comment. I know, I know, I should just be thankful I get to be a part of all this. Bottom Line: I'm still here.

I may not comment often, but I really do enjoy your blog. So far I have had no problems with it. Keep up the good work! =D

Yes, I am having trouble. Unfortunately I already do the pop up method so I wonder what the true fix is? Come on blogger!!!

I haven't had any trouble with your blog, but have with a few others at Blogger. Funny thing is, I can still access them and comment from my phone.

I wondered if maybe it had something to do with those blogs using a newer template that perhaps my version of Internet Explorer (I don't have the newest version) doesn't work with. That would explain why my phone (which uses Safari instead of IE as the browser) would work.

I'm having trouble with followers not showing up and I followed a few this weekend and I'm not showing up there. I've had the comment problem a few times, but the screen freeze it driving me mad! I'm also getting a lot of error codes. I've already switched over to Google Chrome. I'm still here! Love your header.

Glad I could help! Isn't it crazy that everyone is having problems. This has worked for most. I am going to let the commenter above me know that it is only people commenting with Internet explorer, That blank page is another problem, but once I changed the comment box a reader that was having that problem with my blog said it went away?

Oh. I was looking at your gorgeous chandelier, you stole by the way $7 LOL! I saw somewhere a spray on cleaner that all you did was sprayed on, I would love to try it!

I haven't had any problems, but I have read where lots of bloggers are. Thanks for figuring this out! I'll try to spread the news. As for the missing followers, and blog roll, I've had some of that, too. I hoped it would just straighten itself out.

You need to participate in a contest for among the finest blogs on the web. I'll advocate this web site!

Thanks for the information. I'll check out the comment preference on my blog. I've stayed with the old template thus far...I think that I'm not extremely adventurous. My main consternation is that I can't seem to delete my current background in order to insert a seasonally appropriate one. Sigh. Cherry Kay

Sounds like the Internet Gods are at it again. I still have not figured out why my comments are visible on my blog and other times you have to hover over them to see where they are. Happen when the new colors were added. hope you figure it out girl. Peace
