Well I have started the tree, but it is slow going. I put so many ornaments on that it takes about a week to finish. My ornaments are not fancy, just ones I love and that have special meaning.
I love my sock monkey and the little pink marshmallow looking fellow is an old one-probably from the fifties. The first place I go to at estate sales is where the Christmas decorations are.I have lots of the old Shiney Bright ornaments. Now to add about a hundred more ornaments and it will be done. I think I need to work on the top of the tree too-it looks like I set one of Maedeas hats on top!LOL! I am joining Kim for Wow Us Wednesday at http://www.savvysouthernstyle.blogspot.com

lol...you don't have to worry about me buying the ornaments at Estate sales. Only time I put up a tree is if we are having a party for a large group and haven't done that in years.
I love your start at decorating. Cannot wait to see the finished project. Peace
I love your kind of ornaments and the more the better. Richard from My Old Historic House.
My tree is also filled with memories. One of my favorites is the glass ornament my Dad painted my name on when I was a baby. He died more than 40 years ago, so it's extra special.
I think your sock monkey and your puppy dog are really cute!
Your sock monkey ornament is adorable! I would treasure it, too. Our tree is filled with ornaments gathered over the years. I don't like trees that have all matchy-matchy stuff.
Thanks so much for coming by and leaving a sweet note about my new trees!!! I definitely think you're right, the candlesticks improved the look majorly!!! I'm loving your tree! My dream is to have that many ornaments one day ~ all filled with sweet memories!!! What a dream!!! I'm your newest follower and am excited to watch for your completed tree!!

Simply lovely, and what a perfect shade of green! I thought immediately of My Fair Lady, and of Mary Poppins, with all the wealthy suffragettes in their exquisite chapeaux.
Happy December!
