TROPICAL STORM LEE-GOODBYE!

This is what my front yard looked like on Monday-thank goodness it was gone in a few hours.!See my garbage can floating away?

Bridget says no way am I going out in this! This is the back deck-it needed painting before-now it is really going to need it! I am so glad this is over, very scary for a while. Now time to clean up the mess! Thanks for all of your prayers, I know they made a difference!

That is some severe flooding. I hope nothing is ruined or in all of that but you are sure going to have a lot of cleanup.

Wow! I can't believe all that water! And to think how desperately TX needs water. Our family members are in danger of the fires. Here in GA, things are relatively calm. We have had a little rain but nothing like this! Glad it all went away. Hope the rest of your week is great!

Oh my! I'm glad you have good drainage in your yard and it didn't linger long!

We only got about 3/10" out of Lee and honestly wish we could have gotten a little more. Nothing like you did, though!!

I'm so sorry for everyone who's had such a rough time. I almost feel guilty, living in California. I just can't believe how Mother Nature can turn someone's world upside down!

Thanks for the pics. Puts a 'personal' side to it, you know? Thanks for the visit, too!

I know it is overwhelming, but soon, all will be back to normal. I always think of those who did not do so well when we are flooding. Just smile and think happy thoughts. Richard from My Old Historic House.

I hope the clean up goes fast and easy for you. It looks like an ominous chore.

This must have been so stressful. Just watching and waiting for the water to come into the house. I glad it stopped at the porch.

I agree it was very scary for a while. We live on the same road as a couple of house that had to be evacuated. Our home is a little higher so we were good. I am glad to know that you were all safe!!!

OMG what a scary event! You must have been terrified, not knowing where the water was going to stop. I guess the porch got a good scrubbing and the lawn a good watering....Just trying to look for a silver lining, glad all is OK!

Wow! That looks a lot scary! Glad it wasn't worse for you! We just got some rain yesterday and the day before for the first time in ages but it was nothing like that! Did drop the temps from high 90's to mid 60's, for the first time all summer! Thanks for visiting!

DO NOT LET IT OVERWHELM YOU. Take it one job at a time and with each successful job done, pat yourself on the back. Are you near a creek or river? Peace

I am so happy you are out of danger and so sorry you have such a mess to clean up! It has to be just rotten to know you have this to do, but it'll be over and done with soon. Maybe you'll have some beautiful flowers come up from all the rain, I'm looking at the bright side! Take care!
