I am sharing two photos my friend Brittany took recently.I think they are beautiful. Did you know that swans mate for life-well at least that's what I have always heard. Lovely afternoon shadows soften these photos. I am joining http://www.heyharriet.blogspot.com for Shadow Shot Sunday.

They are so beautiful and the photos look great with the hazy effects. Not sure what it's called...lol...Have a great Labor Day.
These are beautiful photos! Yes, I think swans do mate for life just as Canada Geese do.
Such a lovely shadow shot for the day! And such beautiful swans! I, too, have heard that they mate for life. Hope your weekend is going well!

I hav always wanted a pair of swans, hard to keep them in the bath tub, as I have no pond. Maybe they could live in the Mississippi river? need to do research. Thanks, Richard from My Old Historic House.
I love the look of these. Pretty!
The swans seem to be giving affection to one another!
I LOVE MY SHADOW
I love my shadow,
My shadow loves me;
We chat together
And don’t disagree!
My shadow and I
Prefer not to shout
As we go walking
And rambling about.
My shadow’s so wise,
I ask what she thinks;
She’s happy to share,
And then nods and winks.
My shadow and I
Are best buds, you see;
That’s why we try hard
To always agree!
