URN REDO

I found this in my stash while doing a little cleaning. I don't remember where I got it, but I must have seen the potential  in it. I repainted the worn areas and yanked out the pitiful flowers that were in it-a job that took forever since they were stuck in something that looked like spray foam insulation. After all the gook was out-looking better. Now this is much better, thought I am not sure if I will leave this arrangement in it. I have one of my favorite blue and white platters on the table and one of my many crosses and of course a piece of McCarty pottery. I am joining Susan for Met Monday at http://www.betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com  and Marty for Tabletop Tuesday at http://www.astrollthrulife.blogspot.com and Kim for Wow Us Wednesday at http://www.savvysouthernstyle.blogspot.com   And http://www.smilingsally.blogspot.com  for Blue Monday.

Love what you did. I have a similar project that needs work. Your urn certainly looks great when paired with my favorite, blue and white. Thanks for sharing. Ginger :)

Love the old urn. Actually I have a couple sitting on my back porch that I need to do something with.

Very nice! I hate that stuff, it's hard to get out of the vases....

What a beautiful old urn. It makes all the difference when you have something pretty inside and when it's sitting in just the right spot. Very nice!!

Gorgeous redo on that beautiful urn, my friend. Tell me more about this McCarty pottery (our Irish surname). Had not heard of it before.

Have a lovely week ~

That's a great looking urn. Don't you love finding treasures you purchased, but then stashed away temporarily - it's like re-finding the treasure :)
