RICE PAPER PLANT

I love this plant, the lady that gave it to me called it rice paper plant. It is so exotic looking and the leaves get huge by the end of summer. I have it around my goldfish pond.It dies to the ground in winter, but always comes back the next spring. My grandson likes to break off a stem and use it for an umbrella-they get that big!

The leaves are so velvetty and soft, and are beautiful in a tall clear glass vase. I am  joining in Cottage Flora Thursday at http://www.fishtailcottage.blogspot.com and Fertilizer Friday at http://www.tootsietime.blogspot.com

This is a great looking plant. Our here, where all of our plants and flowers are dying for lack of heavenly water, ANYthing GREEN looks amazing to me. :))
Bet it's so cute when your grandboy has his green umbrella...:))

That would be a good leaf to do a concrete leaf from.

Those are neat, you need to make a concrete leaf from one.
