WINNER, WINNER

I recently won the cutest giveway from http://www.moogieland.blogspot.com. If you haven't visited this blog you need too. Moogie has some recipes to die for! Anyway I won a pair of 1980's Campbell Kids dolls. Do you remember when these were popular and in their commercials.? I have loved Campbells tomatoe soup with grilled cheese sandwiches since I was a child watching Lassie on t.v. and Campbells was one of the sponsors.Hey if a boy who loved his dog as much as Timmy did liked it, well of course I would too. Here are photos of the sweet dolls.
O.K. I am off to the pantry for a can of soup!

I had the little boy in a plastic doll in the 50's and thought he was so cute. Bet it's worth something now but it's only a memory. Congrats on your win and the great memories.

Oh Sweetie...
Congratulations on your wonderful win. I had completely forgotten about these precious dolls. I DO remember them now that I see them. They are in MINT condition as well. What a treasure for you.
I can't wait to see where you put them.

Wasn't Lassie the greatest show? I loved it. Timmy was so darn cute too.

Thanks for the wonderful memory this evening sweet friend. Have a beautiful week. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

How fun that you won those nostalgic Campbells kids dolls, they were such a part of my childhood growing up too, we all saw them spooning up our favorite soup on t.v. When my duaghter was younger, I used to think she looked just like the Campbell girl, with her golden locks and big round blue eyes and chubby cheeks. Goodness, did those Campbells kids have names?

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving me a nice comment, I've not been on here much lately, and it's good to get back in the mix.

When it is chilly outside nothing is better than canned soup. My little brother would always cry when Lassie went off because he love the show so much. Todays kids have no idea about waiting a week to see your favorite show or seeing "The Wizard of Oz" just once a year. Peace
