BIG EGG TURNED BASKET

Have you seen these large plastic eggs! With a little cutting with a kitchen knife and scissors you can turn it into a basket. This one was bright blue-I sprayed the inside silver and painted the outside with plastic paint. I think this would be a great prize basket for those egg hunts.

You have to cut the bottom off so it will sit evenly on the table.I think this would look great with a flower arrangement set down in it.
I am joining betweennapsontheporch for MET Monday.

What a clever idea!

Didn't know if you came back to see my response, but yes, I'm a southerner. I'm in south Arkansas.

I have passed those big plastic eggs by, but you have really turned one into something beautiful! I'm so glad to see this. I probably won't make it this year, but I won't forget your transformation.

I've never seen such a ginormous plastic egg! The one you asked about on my blog is paper mache covered with moss. Want to say thanks for visiting and signing up to follow. I sure appreciate it. Will be back to visit again soon.
