MAKE YOUR OWN PEDASTAL

A friend gave me this wooden plate- she said she figured I could do something with it-so I did. I already had this wooden candlestick, so I glued then together with my E-6000-great stuff by the way. I started taking pictures half way through the project as usual. I get ahead of myself.
I painted it with Calypso Blue- don't you love that name? When that dried, I painted on a walnut stain and wiped most of it of.
I like the way it turned out-you will see it later with a cloche on top, when I do my Easter decorations,or when I join Marty's Cloche Party. But today I am linking with Debbie at http://www.debbie-debbiedoos/ for her Newbie Party. I am of to see what everyone else has been up to over there and meet some new blogges.

Yes I love the color, I have it in my stash! Don't candlesticks come in handy? I stack up on them when at the thrift stores. Great job. Visiting by way of Debbie's Newbie Party. Will definitely come back!
