TABLE MAKEOVER

HAVE YOU BEEN OVER TO HTTP://WWW.ATTHEPICKETFENCE YET? VANESSA FROM HTTP://WWW.SOUTHERNINMYHEART HAS MOVED HER INSPIRATION FRIDAY PARTY HERE. YOU MUST GO VISIT, THIS IS A GREAT NEW BLOG.
THIS IS AN OLD TABLE THAT I HAVE HAD FOREVER AND SINCE I AM YEARNING FOR SPRING AND SUNSHINE, I THOUGH I WOULD TRY AND LIGHTEN THINGS UP A LITTLE.
!
THIS IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MAKEOVER. I NEVER DO THINGS THE WAY THEY SHOULD BE DONE-TO IMPATIENT! I DID NOT PRIME AND SINCE THIS HAD ENAMEL PAINT AND I WAS PUTTING LATEX ON TOP IT TOOK SEVERAL COATS-BUT HEY IT WORKED.
DON'T YOU LOVE THE CANDLESTICKS-THEY WEIGH A TON. I GOT THEM FROM A FRIENDS GARAGE SALE FOR A BUCK EACH-YEAH I ALMOST FAINTED TOO. THE CANDLES(NEW) AND THE HEAVY VASE AND FLOWERS WERE SOME MORE OF THE STASH I BOUGH WHEN ONE OF OUR FLORAL SHOPS WENT OUT OF BUSINESS-GET THIS- THEY WERE A BUCK EACH TOO. HMM-MAYBE I SHOULD BE JOINING A THRIFTY PARTY TOO.

Hi! Thank you so much for your sweet words about our new blog at the top of this post!!! I absolutely love that table transformation and saw something very similar to it at a little boutique recently for BIG BUCKS! It makes me want to go around and paint the legs of some of my tables now. :-) Thanks so much for linking this up to Inspiration Friday this week!

Your table really looks nice. It's a good size.

SO GLAD to see someone else does things like that [ your paint/not priming] hard to believe but I did that with kitchen cabinets [big project] but when we had to later go back and redo the whole blooming thing- IT HELPS ONE TO REMEMBER henceforth-rofl at myself.

I like your table and the pretty urn on the floor. A really nice grouping. Glad to see I am not the only one who gets impatient.

Hi,
You did a great job on your table redo. I have some tables I need to do also.
We got about 1 inch of snow. It fell really fast, but it was dark, so we couldn't really enjoy it falling. It's almost gone now. :(

Great job. I really like the white, it shows off the details of the table legs much better.
