MY SPACE

I AM JOINING DEBBIE AT HTTP://WWW.DEBBIE-DEBBIEDOOS FOR HER NEWBIE PARTY,BECAUSE I REALLY WANT TO FIND NEW BLOGS THAT I HAVEN'T DISCOVERED YET. IT IS SO FUN TO SEE WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE IS UP TO.
THIS IS WHAT I CALL MY SPACE-IT IS ALSO A GUEST ROOM WITH A DAYBED(THAT I MADE). ANYWAY, I HAVE BEEN IN HERE CLEANING AND REARRANGING-DON'T YOU THINK IT IS ABOUT TIME! I HAVE BEEN THINNING OUT THE BOOKS, BECAUSE THEY HAVE SPILLED OUT FROM HERE TO ALL OVER THE HOUSE. I HAVE BEEN DONATING A LOT TO THE LIBRARY AND GIVING SOME TO PEOPLE THAT I KNOW WILL ENJOY THEM.
SEE MY WORK TABLE WHERE I SKETCH AND SOMETIMES PAINT. I NEED TO CLEAN UP THIS MESS AND SET UP MY EASEL AGAIN.
SEE I TOLD YOU THERE WERE BOOKS EVERYWHERE! I THINK I HAVE A BAD ADDICTION!

That looks like a room that you could spend a lot of time! very cozy. I think your idea of donating some books is a great one. Doesn't it feel good to purge sometimes? We have done a lot of that with the move coming up. We probably should do more...oh and I would love to see your sketches and paintings sometime.

That looks like a room you could cozy up in all day....what a great collection of books. I'll bet it was hard to part with some? Good for others to enjoy tho'.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving such nice comments. Love the south :)

People that love books never have too many...lol...I'm a library book lover so I don't have the same problem except for stacks of returns.

Well, friend...if one must have an addition, books would be a great addition target.
And, in that last photo..with the books piled up so cute...looks just like Pottery Barn. :)))

I tried my best to like turkey bacon but, like you, I found myself wondering what the heck it was. Just couldn't go it...

This is not a bad addiction it's a good one! I would love my room to look like that, and floor to ceiling bookshelves? well, that just a dream come true.
When we moved, basically all we brought with us were books, boxes and boxes of books. Neither of us can part with them.
