THIS WAS TAKEN IN RANKIN COUNTY MS. THIS FAMILY PLOT SITS HIGH ON A HILL SURROUNDED BY A CRUMBLING STONE WALL. I DON'T KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHY TO KNOW WHAT CAUSED THE RED SWIRLS OVER ONE OF THE GRAVES-OR WAIT COULD IT BE A SPIRIT? I AM JOINING HTTP://www.heyharriet FOR SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY.

I'm going out to a local cemetery Sunday to look for shadows and interesting tombstones. I think cemeteries are wonder-filled places for taking photographs!
IF YOU SEE A SHADOW
If you see a shadow
And want to keep it near,
Point your trusty shooter
(Make sure the lens is clear);
Press with care the shutter,
Do not slam or sock it—
Then you’ll have a photo
To carry in your pocket!

A Splendid, Shadowy Door
Hi Mississippi Artist, Those graves are unusual to me - I've never seen markers like that. Are they for planting flowers? And they're different sizes. But they make for interesting shadows! nice capture, the shadows are long. I see you're a master gardener. I'm in training right now - 3 weeks down, 10 to go before my class is complete. happy SSS and have a great week!
Interesting shadow shot...happy SSS!
What a gorgeous shadow shot.
My shadow shot, have a blessed Sunday!
I'm thinking it's a spirit!!!
Mermaid Shadows
Hope you're having a super Sunday!!
Great photo. I think I'll opt for an anomaly.
Hello there, Mississippi Artist... Thanks for hopping over and visiting my blog via Debbiedoos! I have never stopped off at the antique shops in Ponchatoula but have always wanted to. I do go to Denham Springs often to shop for vintage or antique items....
Interesting grave markers. Excellent long shadows.
Beautiful shot, Vicky. You might have captured a spirit there, lol...>Christine
