LUNCH TIME

WHEN I AM HOME FOR LUNCH I USUALLY SET THE TABLE IN THE KITCHEN FOR HUBBY AND I. TODAY I USED AN ACORN THEME, BUT I THINK THE TABLECLOTH MIGHT HAVE BEEN A TAD BUSY. I USED MY ACORN NAPKIN RINGS TOO. THE DISHES ARE FROM WALLY WORLD-SO CHEAP TO REPLACE WHEN THEY CHIP-AND THEY DO!
I DO LIKE THE ACORN LEAVES ON THESE SALAD PLATES.THE SOUP BOWLS ARE FROM THIS TUREEN SET THAT A FRIEND GAVE ME FOR CHRISTMAS.
I KNOW I FIXED THIS PICTURE, BUT IT DECIDED TO GO BACK AND BE SIDE WAYS-O.K. JUST LEAN OVER AND LOOK AT IT UPSIDE DOWN, IT WILL BE O.K. THEN! HA! I AM JOINING SUSAN FOR TABLESCAPE THURSDAY AT http://www.betweennapsontheporch/ .IF YOU VISIT YOU PROBABLY WON'T SEE ANY SIDEWAYS PICTURES OR SIMPLE LUNCHES FOR TWO, BUT SOME REALLY FANTASTIC TABLESCAPES-THE KIND I AM GOING TO DO ONE DAY WHEN I HAVE TIME-NOT!

Oh, I think that's a cute table. I love pattern on pattern, and those plates are darling as is the cloth. Looks like a cheery place to have lunch with your sweetie!

Happy Tablescape Thursday to you...

XO,

Sheila :-)

Your plates are lovely. I'm with you on how I'll probably never make some of the tablescapes these other ladies do. But I must say yours looks very nice.

Thanks for the comment on my blog. It was much appreciated!

Pretty! Love the bright colors. Orange and sage green has always been one of my favorite color combo...Christine
