CHRISTMAS IN CANTON

LAST NIGHT THE HUB AND I TOOK A ROAD TRIP TO CANTON. EVERY YEAR THEY CLOSE OF THE SQUARE DOWNTOWN EVERY EVENING. IT IS A WINTER WONDERLAND. THEY HAVE CARRIAGE RIDES AND FOR THE CHILDREN THEY HAVE A CAROUSEL AND A MINIATURE TRAIN AND FIRE ENGINE TO RIDE AROUND THE SQUARE.THERE ARE LIGHTS AND DECORATIONS EVERYWHERE. POLICEMEN ARE AT EVERY CORNER TO GUIDE PEOPLE ACROSS AND FAMILIES WERE OUT STROLLING AND FEELING PERFECTLY SAFE. I LOVE THE IVY COVERED DEER THAT WERE PLACED AT STRATEGIC PLACES.
ISN'T THE COURTHOUSE BEAUTIFUL? AND LOOK AT THE CANOPY OF LIGHTS OVER THE STREET.
THIS IS THE TREE ON THE COURTHOUSE LAWN. THE LIGHTS ARE SYNCRONIZED WITH THE CHRISTMAS MUSIC THAT IS PLAYING.
A LOT OF THE STORES ARE OPEN FOR SHOPPING OR BROWSING,ALSO SOME OF THE RESTURANTS ON THE SQUARE, IF YOU WANT DINNER. ITS BEST TO COME EARLY BECAUSE BY EIGHT OCLOCK ITS GETTING REALLY CROWDED.THIS IS A PERFECT FAMILY OUTING. LAST NIGHT IT WAS 70 DEGREES OUT AND JUST PERFECT FOR STROLLING AROUND AND ENJOYING THIS. I HAVE MORE PICTURES OF THE STORE WINDOWS AND THE ANIMATED CHRISTMAS MUSEUM'S WINDOWS TO SHARE WITH YOU. I WILL POST THOSE TOMMORROW AND FRIDAY.
