THERE ARE TWO PICTURES OF MY HUBBY, WHEN WE VISITED EGYPT. oN THE DESK I HAVE THREE FAVORITE HATPINS STUCK IN THE CANDLEHOLDER OF THE INKWELL, AND THE 1972 INSECTS OF THE WORLD BOOK-I TURN IT TO DIFFERENT PAGES EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE- SUCH BEAUTIFUL ILLUSTRATIONS.AND OF COURSE ANOTHER MONKEY LAMP! My grandmother had one when I was a lil girl and I adored it, hers had a book case on the left side, and the desk top pull down on the right,
with drawers underneath, and a ledge above were you pull it down with a mirror and then anther shelf above that. I always loved the lil cubbyholes and drawers in it.
