A BOOK REVIEW

i RECENTLY RECEIVED A REQUEST FROM MISSISSIPPI AUTHOR PATRICIA NEELY-DORSEY TO REVIEW HER NEW BOOK OF POEMS. i AM ALWAYS INTERESTED IN HELPING FELLOW MISSISSIPIANS, SO I AGREED TO DO THIS FOR HER. I REALLY LIKED THIS BOOK .ONE OF MY FAVORITE POEMS IS NATURE LOVERS ABOUT HOW HER FATHER TAUGHT HER ABOUT THE BIRDS AND TREES AND HOW SHE IS NOW TEACHING HER SON THESE THINGS. ANOTHER ONE I LIKE IS KNOW IT ALL (HE THINKS) it is about how her son henry thinks he knows everything there is. we have all been there if we have children! there are poems about shelling peas and feeding pigs and country breakfasts- if you are from the south you will be going down memory lane with these poems. patricia is from tupelo-birthplace of elvis. she graduated from boston university and is a member of alpha kappa alpha sorority and the national association for the advancement of colored people. patricia is currently working on her second bok of poetry, "the secret garden of love". COPIES OF HER BOOK CAN BE PURCHASED FROM HER AT 1196 CR 681 IN SALTILLO, MS.38866. YOU CAN E-MAIL HER AT MAGNOLIAGIRL21 @YAHOO.COM OR PHONE HER 901-848-6800. sORRY THE PICTURE OF HER IS SO BLURRY- DON'T KNOW WHY.
