The hospital where I am an auxillary member had an appreciation dinner and dance{very casual} for us. It was very nice, with great food and nice door prizes and wonderful entertainement. But as I am the youngest member, it was kind of sad to see all the older ladies with no husbands-how can you dance without a partner? Well a lot of the ladies got up and danced together- fun - but sad to me. I realized there were about fourty ladies and four men- wow- I better keep up the hubs life insurance- there sure are a lot of widows in this town. Just kidding! Anyway I think all of the ladies just enjoyed gettin dressed and going out. Old age is not for sissies is it?
