BOOK PAGE WREATH TUTORIAL

Well, I finally decided to make a book wreath, since they are ever so popular. I took an old paperback and cut random flower shapes out- nothing fancy- and really not even perfect. Then I stuck my pencil in the center and squished the flower up around it. Then I hot glued the end into a grapevine wreath. It was sitting on top of my George Foreman grill if you are curious as to what that red thing is-doesn't everyone need a red George Foreman grill? I thinks so. Anyway when I finished gluing-done over several days when I had a few minutes to spare- I took my olive green stamp pad and hit the edges and called it done .You know these things are cute as a button- pictures just don't do them justice.

A fun twist on the book wreath! I made one a few months ago. But I like this ruffled look. Maybe I'll need to make another one.

Hi! I love this wreath! I'm visiting from Follow Me Friday and became a follower. I hope can come visit me too. :) My husband and I are going to Plymouth, MA to tour the 2010 HGTV Green Home today and I'll be posting about it next week. Enjoy the weekend!
