Cake Pedastals &TeaCake Stands

These are some cake and cookie stands that I made from junk I had hanging around. The really tall one has a base made from a bud vase and the others are just old candlesticks. The tall one looks really nice filled with teacakes. Don't mind my table, I did not turn on the light, so I didn't notice the leftover Christmas snow-and yes dust!

I love that the pieces you've married are all clear glass. Great to use entertaining. That is what my post is about today, too. Lezlee

I thought the pictures were lovely...and then read that you made them!!! These are beautiful, and look as though they've always existed as they are now! What an inspiration

As Amanda asked, what kind of adhesive did you use? I just passed up some crystal candlesticks on Friday. Now I have to go back. I have wanted a cake stand forever, but didn't want to pay the price on the ones I liked.
