PORCH AND PATIO IDEAS

I thought I would share some ideas for brightening up your patio or porch. I took these pictures at a tour I took recently.Lot's of good ideas to copy here. This is just a big bowl-or maybe a birdbath filled with flowers. Love this big bowl filled with succulents and the blue glass chips. You wouldn't have to water this one every five minutes either!

Isn't this cross and urn a beautiful focal point? Iron crosses are relatively inexpensive, as are skyrocket junipers that you could plant on each side. You could even use a big pot instead of an urn. Sure would dress up a plain wall.Wall ornaments almost like this one can be found almost anywhere. But how about just using an old window with a basket of flowers attached to it. I love this black against the brick. I will be sharing a to die for vegetable-herb garden and more deck/porch decor later. I am joining Sally for Blue Monday at http://www.smilingsally.blogspot.com  and Kim at Savvy Southern Style for Wow Us Wednesday at http://www.savvysouthernstyle.blogspot.com

They are really lovely. I'd like to have any of them in my yard.

Those are so beautiful, Vicky. Thanks for the ideas! To answer your question about the bird plates, yes, I have done a tablescape on them once. I won them on The Tablescaper's giveaway and did a tablescape right after.....Christine

Such nice inspirational ideas for the patio! Since I was away for a while, I'm so behind...and now it's so hot!
