I have been out and about on two more fabulous garden tours,so I am sharing.I have just given up on my garden till cooler weather-except for watering of course.
Let's enter the back garden through these lovely gates. This is a shade garden, and the Good Lord knows we need these in a Mississippi summer!Monster fern!Wouldn't this be a nice place to relax? Love this focal point of the large pot with giant bamboo.
Beautiful hosta. I am joining http://www.fishtailcottage.blogspot.com , for Cottage Flora Thursday, and Fertilizer Friday at http://www.tootsietime.blogspot.com . And http://www.bunnyjeansdecorandmore.blogspot.com

Looks like a lovely place to relax and get out of the heat.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures of this garden! Yes, we DO need the shade gardens here in the South!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful garden, Vicky! The plants look so healthy in spite of the hot weather...Christine
ReplyDeleteYou get to see a lot of beautiful gardens.
ReplyDeleteLovely. I could sit on the swing forever. Those gates are fabulous, too, as is the first container planting. Love garden tours!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I love garden tours!
ReplyDeleteI bet it is hot and humid there but the plants are hanging in there and look good. Too hot for you to do much gardening?
ReplyDeleteI am gearing up for my planting season as it will soon start to get cooler here. Fall and Spring are usually in the low 90's and 80's.
Thanks for joining this weeks Bunny Hop Party!

Your plants look amazing!! Mine are all mostly dead.
ReplyDeleteI just signed on as your newest follower, would love for you to follow me.
Have a great day!!
Your garden is very pretty. The gates are so charming. Shade is a good thing these days!

Nice to tour gardens that have others taking care of them. Mine is like yours just watered enough for it to stay alive. If the winds blows too hard on the hill we will have a huge dust storm. Peace
ReplyDeleteI just love going on garden tours. These photos are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a flower garden anymore. The heat and drought took every one of them.
I enjoyed seeing these so much.

I wish I could go on a garden tour. What fun.
ReplyDeleteI love the first container. I can't think of the name of that purple plant....something like purple shiled...I have grown it before and really enjoyed it.
Love the garden gates and the arbors, so many great ideas here!
ReplyDeleteI just shared this post on tootsies facebook...good post!
ReplyDeleteI thank you so much for linking in this week. It is an honor to host Friday's Flaunt and meet new friends and visit the regulars (who are like old friends) who share. I am always excited to tour each post and see the different flowers/ projects and garden art that everyone flaunts. It is a pleasure to tour and see all the gorgeous blooms...and I appreciate each and every link and comment! I hope you will link in again soon!
