I LOVE LIVING IN THE SOUTH

I love living in the South.! I still have roses blooming-maybe not after this week though. We have had a few nights in the thirties and frost already, but my back yard is the perfect micro climate. I have an 8 and 1/2 foot fence surrounding my back yard and a wooded lot next door,so everyone elses yards are brown and dead and I still have green and blooming. How lucky am I ?
The lows are going to be in the twenties the next couple of nights, so even these will be gone I am sure, but I sure have enjoyed them! I am joining http://www.savvysouthernstyle.blogspot.com  for Wow Us Wednesday and then back to the Christmas decorating-at least the weather is beginning to feel more like Christmas.

SUNDROPS IN MY GARDEN

I am joining OUTDOOR WEDNESDAY today . These are what everyone here calls sundrops. I  really don't know the real name of them, I had never seen them before I moved here. They are the most brilliant yellow, and the blooms last forever- a really great addition to any garden.
