I bought this nativity years ago at a moving sale. Later someone told me that this was a popular item made in ceramics classes in the 70's I think. Well, it doesn't matter, I have always loved it.
I have bought the accesories over the years. I like the palm trees. I have cosidered doing a bed of sand for them to sit on.
I just realized I don't have the stable up yet. The camels are my favorite pieces.I always putt the wise men and camels way to the East and move them a little closer each day. ReplyDeleteYour nativity is beautiful. I remember the ceramics classes in the sixties and seventies.There were some lovely things made back then. I remember this beautiful nativity. It was very expensive and time consuming to make. I had time but not the money. You are very lucky to have such complete set. Someone spent many hours on this.

ReplyDeleteYour nativity is beautiful. You are so fortunate to have the complete set. I think your idea of the sand is a good one but how would you contain the sand? If you're like me, I get all my decorating done and then I start tweaking and changing. Hope your holidays are wonderful!
