A SOUTHERN PORCH

In the South it is all about porches-screened porches preferably! Yes it gets hot here and we have bugs-lots of bugs. A screened porch with ceiling fans is a coveted thing here. Notice the brick floor and columns-it certainly adds to the coolness.
We love to accessorize too! I love these crosses.
Good place to sit and have a glass of sweet tea-another Southern must have!

Cute storage chest great for blankets or board games. In the South most of the time the porch is used at least 10 months of the year. Of course a blanket might be needed to curl up in sometimes.
I am joining Marty for Tabletop Tuesday at http://www.astrollthrulife.blogspot.com and Sasha at http://www.intheoldroad.blogspot.com  for her blogger block party, also the Wednesday Adorned From Above Blog Hop at http://adornedfromabove.com

  3. beautiful!
i wish my porches were that serene. unfortunately, they serve as a chew-free drop zone for outside things where the dog can't get them. :(
but the sweet tea...i might be able to manage~
    happy Tuesday!
